My name is Dave Gingras and I am 19 years old. I have been listening to Marilyn Manson since I heard the Beautiful People through my best friends John and Jeremey in 1996.
I live in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, but I am in the process of moving to Ottawa, Ontario, where I'll be for a couple weeks, then I am off to Borden, Ontario, where I will be attending an aircraft technician's course through the Canadian Armed Forces, which I am a member of.
To me, Marilyn Manson is more than music. It is a thought process, a way to think, feel and express. Mr. Manson is a courier of idea, an author, a playwright, a magician, and by me, he is highly respected.
When I started this website, I was a kid. I wanted to show the world I was associated with the biggest rock and roll band on its face, that I knew something about them, that I was rebellious enough to sit on my father's computer and create this- another idea brought to life to pass the story, the script, the trick, onto others. As Manson has come to mean more to me, so has this site. I couldn't stand the "Hail Satan, 666," Marilyn Manson sites any longer. He needed justice, for himself and his cause, and now I am able to provide that, educate the people before they go on another witch hunt, a second Columbine...
My favourite quote by Manson is "If people are going to hate me, I want them to hate me for all the right reasons." I don't feel people do. They hate him because of what he looks like, not what ideas dwell in his mind.
So, in the spirit of Marilyn Manson, hate away, but check out Mechanical Animals, my idea, his story, first. Then, if you still disapprove, HATE. Hate away... |  |
